Chesterton Community College has a very well established research culture, and we are committed to using research as a tool to enhance the experience and learning of our pupils. Many staff are actively involved in research, both on an individual level, and also at a group and cross curricular level. Chesterton also actively supports outside agency in coming into Chesterton to undertake research, including PhD students, as well as the Faculties of Education from Nottingham, Nottingham Trent and Cambridge University. Chesterton is also part of a number of Eastern region research networks aimed at promoting research in the region.
